Lao Gong (劳宫)
Definition: Lao Gong (劳宫), meaning “Labor Palace,” is the Pericardium-8 (PC-8) acupoint located at the center of the palm where the middle finger touches when the hand makes a loose fist.
Role in Tai Chi

- Sensing energy during push hands
- Emitting Qi in healing practices
- Feeling the connection between hands and body
- Maintaining relaxed, open palms during form practice
